Yoga lessons are available upon request either outdoors. In the garden or indoors in the gym.

Yoga is an ancient Hindu spiritual discipline that aims to achieve physical and mental balance.

Through a series of movements, postures and breathing exercises, we can succeed in enhancing the flexibility of our body and our lung capacity.

We can strengthen our muscles and joints, improve our physical performances and prevent backache and postural problems.
Furthermore yoga practice can soothe our mind, increase our ability to concentrate and support our self-esteem.

Who Is Marta?

The lessons are led by Marta that has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and as a teacher for 15 years including 7 in her own yoga centre in Genoa.
Marta has practiced and studied Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.

Functional Yoga: The Individual Journey of Growth and Awareness

In her lessons Marta offers a functional yoga approach suitable for the needs and requirements of the learners, a modern approach that forsakes knowledge and respect for tradition.

Functional yoga in not a style of yoga, it is an approach to yoga. Lessons are adapted to individual development paths in order to guide the exploration of personal potential and limits.

The objective is not to repeat correctly a series of exercises but rather to perceive and control our own movements and breathing. It is not so important how our movements appear from the outside as much as how one feels them.

What matters is the experience, the celebration of our uniqueness and living that posture in the present.
